![]() ![]() ![]() I never felt good about it, because i ruined the build trying out different spells as i leveled, but I didn't want to start over considering how much I had already invested (and this was back in 00's when i was a freaken KID!) I got that character to like lvl 70 after god know how many hours of play. Mind you this is Diablo 2 1.0 where exp was slow and hard to grind. So then i put all my points into firewall. I remember my first D2 sorc (v1.0 mind you) and I loved Hydra's from Diablo 1, so I put a quite a few points into Hydras only to find out that firewall was the broken skill. Make sure to do all your stat/skill quests before the last one too. If online or plugY, try to get your anni and a torch to factor in the 20-40 extra star points. I like to save the last one for after I’ve beat the game, unless I need to use it to do so, because it’s where you start to find end game gear. You should have a general idea of where you character is going, or where it needs to change. Usually it’s the end of nightmare or beginning of hell. The second respec I like to save for when I get stuck. 30 is a nice point for the first respec because of the full skill tree access, too. By this level, you should have some gear you want to wear, but you’re going to continue to progress and find better gear. I usually will use one around level 30-40 to offset the wasted stat points I pump into energy and strength for most classes. You get 3 respecs, so don’t rush to use them. ![]()
